My Watercolor on Canvas

I spent some few days playing with Crayola and Grumbacher watercolors, other than messing with India ink, I haven't work with something so wet for quite awhile. After loads of experimentation, I transferred my final rabbit girl piece on my canvas, primed with gesso.

This mammal princess is now up in my Etsy store!

Lately, during my late June....

Ever since I watched the Flaming Lips performed, I've been caught up in several activities for the past few weeks (work excluded):

-Finishing up Scott Pilgrim vs. The World manga. Now I'm done with the sixth volume, its final book. It was pretty humorous to read; I believe it is the only manga that fits to the kind of culture I live in. I immediately watched the movie almost right after completing this comic series. I want to watch the movie again.

-On the verge of starting Kirby's Epic Yarn. It is the cutest game I ever played, this is a plus if for anyone who admire aesthetically pleasing children games and in no way competitive. For me, playing Kirby's Epic Yarn on Wii is like creating my own little utopia using a doll house.

-Reflected on the last novel I read, Cellist of Sarajevo, it was quite dark to read... but beautifully written.

-Been bicycling a bit more again.
