Cat faces!

First of all, I'm still in a long hunt for cat-eyed frames while I've been neglecting to make an appointment with an optometrist. Secondly, I have a thing for cat faces on clothing:

Spotted this Peter Pan collard shirt with a cat face print from tumblr. I believe the original brand might be from Candy Stripper, based in Harajuku. As I searched for this top, I was only led to Aliebaba/ Aliexpress. So yeah, not ordering anything from there because of time and shipping.

I first spotted this dress from a Lovelyish article. Too bad it's from Romwe, because I've heard mixed reviews from that place. Plus, I am not that patient for oversea stuff.

These are my "wish list" doodles. I will have to put these cat faces for my next semi-sewing, crafting or DIY project.

Mori Girl 30 Day Challenge: X & XI

X. What are your favorite books? do you think they’re mori or not?

Where's Waldo, I Spy, One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish, Madeline, James and the Giant Peach, Ella Enchanted, Number the Stars, a Wrinkle in Time, To Kill A Mockingbird, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Anne of Green Gables, and a few of Jane Austen's stories. So far, I am loving the Night Circus.

I would say Ella Enchanted would be the closet thing to mori, considering that novel is very fairy-tale like. Oh, and of course, with Anne of Green Gables, because of the setting and time era in that book.

I have read a little bit of Little House on the Prairie series, but they weren't as memorable to me.

VI. name 5 of your favorite mori girl style songs or musicians, even if they’re not explicity “mori.”

1. Fleet Foxes

2. Lord Huron

3. Bon Iver

4. John Denver

5. Kitaro

So pretty much just folk, great outdoors, and world-sounding music for my mori playlist.

Mori Girl 30 day challenge: VIII and IX

8. What is your favorite type of plant life? whether it be tree, bush, flower, fruit or vegetable? why is it so special to you?
Hmmm, that's quite hard! I really like all types of trees-- pine, sequoia, medrona (refrigerator tree), oak, maple and willow trees. Same for flowers, fruits and vegetables-- no particular favorite! I guess I like diversity with plant  life. After all, from what I learned in biology, diversity overall does help keep organisms immune. :3

9. list 10 words that remind you of mori girl or inspire your mori girl life.

1. Forest
2. Cottage
4. Sheep
5. Gardens
6. Foxes
7. Deer
8. Water pail
9. Sewing
10. Log lady

Yes, the Log lady. From David Lynch's Twin Peaks.
